SATO have been developing patient ID products for over two decades. SATO work with healthcare providers to manufacture patient ID wristbands. Simultaneously, these can be manufactured for a range of environments. Or for patients staying for varying duration.

For long stay patients we offer a range of soft & durable wristbands. Thermally printed, they provide long lasting, quality output. We also have a cost-effective range of thermal printed wristbands. Unquestionably, these offer similar benefits to the premium range. However, they are more suited to short stay patients.

SATO have developed an economical & convenient option for short stay & outpatients. These include high performing RFID wristbands. Specifically, these have the added advantage of being compatible with most domestic printers.

DT Wristbands

DT wristbands provide economic solutions for short stay patients.

These wristbands are safe & comfortable to wear. Furthermore, they are non-cytotoxic & non-irritant. This ISO certified solution has been thoroughly tested in labs. The wristband material is resistant to the rigours of a hospital environment. However, they are gentle on the patients skin.

Direct thermal technology is used to print the wristbands. Ribbons are not required. However, the resulting print is high quality. Nevertheless, it retains printed information well for the duration of the patients stay.

The band can either be clipped or stuck together. It also features a tamper proof system. Such features prevent transferring of bands. Markedly, they also help maintain patient security.

The wristband features ECONANO technology. This helps absorb & reduce CO2 which is released when incinerated. ECONANO technology contains nano vesicle capsules (NVC) Conversely, this adds a CO2 absorbant to the wristbands adhesive.

Eco Wristbands

ECO wristbands are a cost effective yet reliable solution. They are aimed at patients only staying at hospital for 3 days max . A ribbon is not required for direct thermal printing. Instead, information is printed on a soft, synthetic wristband.

Eco wristbands are hypoallergenic & latex free. They are also resistant to harsh hospital environments. Resultantly, patient data remains legible for the duration. The band is tested in ISO lab conditions. Moreover, the bands are non-cytotoxic & non-irritant.

The wristbands come with two closure options. For adults, this is a clip. For adults & infants, the bands have a tamper evidence system. Meanwhile, such features ensure the data is non-transferable.
